Operation Christmas Child Update

Operation Christmas Child Update

Thank you for helping us help 1250 families through Operation Christmas Child!

Remember, the shoeboxes you picked up are due this Sunday, November 21st! Bring them to your local Austin area campus this Sunday morning. Our goal was 1000 families, but in the end, we exceeded our goal!

Our partners with Operation Christmas Child work with local churches to serve these families throughout the year. Included in these boxes will be a Bible in their heart language and an invitation to a mentoring relationship helping them connect with Jesus.

By the way, if you give to Gateway, you helped pay for all of the shipping!

Thank you for your generosity!

Coming soon: we will have the opportunity to help refugees who have just resettled in Austin. More info soon!

His new book Where Cowards Go To Die, is a memoir from his time serving in the U.S. military in Iraq and Afghanistan. His book “cuts through the bravado to reveal a brutal portrait of war and the cost of returning to a country that no longer feels like home.”
