Campus Serve Opportunities

Serving others with others is one of the best ways to meet people, make friends, and live connected. Below, is some information about a few of the opportunities to make an impact. Along with these, we have many other ways to serve at your campus.  When you sign up, you're simply asking for more information.  One of our team members will follow up with you to explore the best place for you to serve.

Guest Experience & Connect

Volunteers create a welcoming environment that embodies our core value of authenticity. Join our Sunday morning teams to greet visitors, serve coffee, direct parking, or simply share a smile. Help us make every person's experience special from the moment they arrive.

Arts & Production

Want to be part of making a Sunday happen? Come join our Production Team! You don't have to have production experience - we'll train and equip you!

Our Arts Team includes singers, musicians, dancers, poets, painters, filmmakers, and graphic designers.

Kids & Students

Want to make a difference in the next generation? Come join our Students and Kids Teams! You don't have to know everything about the Bible or even have experience working with teenagers or kids - we'll train and equip you as you make a huge difference in the lives of families at Gateway!

I.T.

We are looking for both in-person and remote volunteers for our I.T. team. We need people with experience in Helpdesk support, Desktop support, MDM, Network engineering, and Integrated communications.

Logistics

Help behind the scenes at Gateway! Join our Facilities, Set-Up & Teardown, Safety, Front Desk, or Logistics teams. These roles support campus operations, ensure safety, and assist with administrative tasks. Choose an opportunity that fits your skills and interests.

City Serve Opportunities

Along with opportunities to serve one of our Gateway campuses, you can also volunteer to serve our community. Below you will find a few of the many ways to serve those outside the walls of Gateway.

Join a City Serve Group

Feed The Community

Volunteer at Gateway's North Austin food pantry bi-weekly. Options include:

  • Packing groceries: Tuesdays 3-5 PM
  • Food distribution: Wednesdays 8:30-11:30 AM
  • Driving to pick up orders from Capital Texas Food Bank Help us support our diverse community through this essential service.

Grow Together Garden

Help provide produce for the Gateway food pantry and learn organic gardening in the process. Join us every Saturday at the back of the North Austin Campus parking lot from 8:30-11:30am.

Serve South Austin

Serving those in need in South Austin including those who are homeless, in subsidized housing, or incarcerated and mobilizing others to serve with us to bring more of God’s love to our world.

More than Welcome

More than Welcome is a nonprofit organization that supports refugees and asylum seekers in the Austin area and Central Texas. They believe in uniting and activating the Church, stepping in the gap by providing resources and sharing the love of Christ!

Serve Buda

Serving those in need in Buda and mobilizing others to serve with us to bring more of God’s love to our world.

Serve Dripping Springs

Serving those in need in Dripping Springs and mobilizing others to serve with us to bring more of God’s love to our world.
